What about our civil rights?

Why do workers who build this nation have less rights than other Australians?

Secret interrogations over everyday workplace matters. No right to silence or lawyer of choice. Six months jail if you fail to answer questions. These are the bad, Howard-government laws that still plague Australia's construction workers. "The BTG Drug & Alcohol Program promotes awareness and workplace safety through drug and alcohol education nationally, as well as linking affected workers and their families to appropriate treatment services including the recently opened Foundation House, the Construction Industry Drug & Alcohol Foundation Treatment Centre."
