Taskforce takes CFMEU and members to Federal Court for Workplace Death Safety Audit 08 December 2004
Not satisfied with Justice Marshall's decision of Oct 12, the Building Industry Taskforce has now initiated proceedings against the CFMEU and 11 CFMEU members employed at the Concept Blue site in Melbourne. The CFMEU members are being prosecuted for allegedly accepting payment for periods of industrial action and for allegedly breaching the dispute settlement procedure in the certified agreement.
